'White Bred' is a physical theatre piece princially influenced by Japanese artform and culture. The show probes how we, as human subjects, are moulded by societies and cultres into which we are born.
'White Bred' is the creation of Jack Migdalek, who lived in Japan (initially as an ALT on JET) from 1991 to 1997. During this period, Jack studied classical Japanese dance, Hanabusa Nihon Buyoh. At the end of 1992, he was given the distinction of receiving an artist's name (natori.)
Performance dates: 16-19th January, 9pm. Venue: Chapel off Chapel, Little Chapel Street, Prahran.
